Meet Jessie Cozza, LCAT
I love working with ambitious, driven women who have spent years being strong for everyone else and are ready to find their voice in their work, their families, and their closest relationships.
I'm a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist in Manhattan and an EMDRIA Certified Therapist™, with a master's degree in Drama Therapy from New York University. I specialize in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and creative arts therapy.
I've spent 15 years working with trauma, including more than a decade as a trauma specialist with the FDNY, supporting first responders through complex and traumatic grief. That work taught me what happens when strong, capable people are trained to push through chronic overwhelm rather than process it. I see the same pattern in the clients I work with today. I know that to untangle old patterns and painful dynamics, we need support, time, and permission to slow down.
My style
Therapy is not meant to “fix us.”
It gives us the freedom to make choices that are no longer tied to the past.
It allows us to loosen the grip of who we're supposed to be, and creates space for the parts of us that have always been there, but never had the encouragement, the safety, or the permission to fully show up.
With authenticity, humor, and unconditional acceptance, I offer a space where you can stop performing, own your power without apology, and build a life, and a career, that actually sustains you.
