Therapy for Ambitious women in NYC
As a woman in finance, what if the most ambitious thing you did was choose yourself?
You know how strong you are. You know what you're capable of. And you know this isn't sustainable.
What if succeeding in finance didn't have to cost you your health?
Your toxic workplace is leaving you with self-doubt, sleepless nights, and a dread that follows you home.
The migraines, the shoulder tension, the nervous system that's always on edge.
Your boss has been chipping away at your confidence.
Your boundaries have slowly shifted.
The dynamics in the office are triggering old wounds.
You've spoken up and nothing has changed.
There are parts of your job you love, and that's exactly what makes this so hard. A part of you wants to leave, and a part of you wants to stick it out.
Your nervous system is not overreacting. It's responding to a broken system.

Attachment Focused EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is one of the most well-researched approaches to trauma therapy. It uses bilateral stimulation to support the brain and body in processing painful memories and experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and the kind of overwhelming emotions that can feel hard to.
What makes EMDR distinct is that it works with your nervous system's own capacity to heal, rather than around it. And unlike traditional talk therapy, many people begin to feel a real shift sooner than they expect.
The Attachment Focused approach means your safety and your goals are never an afterthought. The process is adapted to stay attuned to your individual and shifting needs. Learn more.

Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-focused, natural approach to healing trauma, developed over decades of research by Dr. Peter Levine. Drawing from a unique blend of physiology, psychology, ethology, biology, neuroscience, and indigenous healing practices. SE is based on the understanding that trauma stores survival energy in the body. When this energy isn’t released, it can cause the nervous system to become stuck in dysregulated states, leading to ongoing symptoms. SE helps restore balance by gently releasing this stored energy and supporting the body's natural healing processes.
I have completed Beginning and Intermediate SE training. I am currently in my Advanced year of training.. Learn more.

Creative arts therapy integrates the creative process and psychotherapy. It is based on the belief that artistic expression can help individuals communicate, overcome obstacles and manage stress.
Drama therapy draws on the tools of theater, storytelling, role, and embodied action, as a pathway to healing. It's an active, experiential approach that gets you out of your head and into the work. Through drama therapy, we can explore your story, work through difficult emotions, find new perspectives, and experience the kind of release that talk alone doesn't always reach.
